Overview

The Talmadge, a 1923 high-rise in Koreatown.

Built in 1923 at 3278 Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown, The Talmadge is a 10-story French Normandy-style building with 52 residences. Floor plans range from one-bedroom homes near 900 sq ft up to five-bedroom residences of approximately 3,500 sq ft. The building takes its name from silent-film actress Norma Talmadge, who owned it with her husband, producer Joseph Schenck, and reportedly lived on the tenth floor. Nearly a century old, it remains one of Koreatown's most storied prewar addresses.
