About

Meet Condos of LA

Focused on clarity, trust, and expertise.

Condos of LA is a specialized guide to buying, selling, and living in a Los Angeles condominium — a comprehensive directory of the city’s condo and loft buildings paired with hands-on advisory.

With condos, the building matters as much as the home inside it. A great unit in a troubled building is a hard place to be, so we focus on the things that are easy to overlook and expensive to get wrong: the health of the HOA, how a floor plan really lives, natural light, amenities, pet and leasing rules, and long-term resale demand. Our goal is to bring all of it into the open — clear building facts and honest market context — so you can move through one of the biggest decisions you’ll make with clarity and confidence.

Tyler Drinkwater
Real Estate Advisor · CA DRE# 02112336

Tyler Drinkwater brings a concierge approach to the Los Angeles condominium market, guiding buyers and sellers through the city’s high-rise towers, boutique buildings, and luxury residences. He believes real estate is a service business before it is a sales business — leading with transparency, simplifying complex decisions, and pairing relentless preparation with an entrepreneurial mindset so every condo client moves with clarity and confidence.

Raised in downtown Boston by a father with a long and successful real estate career, Tyler grew up around the business before earning a Bachelor of Science from New York University and making his move to Los Angeles. An earlier chapter in New York’s hospitality and restaurant world — where he went on to own his own wine venture — shaped the hospitality-first service and eye for detail he now brings to every condominium transaction, from a first studio to a full-floor residence.

His clients range from first-time condo buyers to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and public figures, and his market knowledge spans Los Angeles' most competitive enclaves. For sellers, Tyler developed his proprietary LAUNCH protocol — a concierge-driven system designed to build demand before a residence ever feels available, combining strategic pricing, meticulous preparation, targeted outreach, and elevated marketing to make each condo stand out in a crowded market.

Real Estate Advisor · CA DRE# 02023164

Michael Druker specializes in the Los Angeles condominium market — guiding buyers and sellers through the city’s landmark towers, boutique loft conversions, and new-development condos. He approaches real estate as a craft, pairing a designer’s eye with disciplined market strategy so clients can navigate condo living with clarity and confidence.

Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2013, Michael has developed architecturally significant homes and worked closely with condominium buyers, sellers, and developers across the city — from Downtown’s converted lofts and Wilshire Corridor high-rises to the Westside’s boutique buildings. He knows the details that separate one building from the next: the health of an HOA, the quality of a floor plan, natural light, amenities, and long-term resale demand.

His earlier career in New York — spanning private equity asset management, hospitality construction, and boutique investment sales — informs a rigorous, detail-driven approach to condo valuation, negotiation, and marketing. Whether it’s a first studio or a full-floor residence, Michael brings the same clear, trusted counsel to every transaction.

How we work

Two brokerages, one team

Condos of LA is a partnership built around LA’s luxury condo market, not a brokerage. Michael is licensed with Douglas Elliman of California; Tyler is with Revel Real Estate. We built this business together and kept our separate firms deliberately.

Most of the time a client never thinks about it. In the moments when it matters, it works in your favour.

Two networks, not one

A great deal of what happens in LA condos happens in conversation before it happens on the MLS. Sitting inside two firms means we hear about buildings from two directions — and a seller’s listing reaches two sets of agents, not one.

Two toolkits for a listing

Douglas Elliman brings national and international reach; Revel brings the speed and flexibility of an independent LA firm. A seller gets both, rather than whichever one their agent happens to belong to.

Two people who both know the building

Showings do not wait for one person’s calendar, and neither of us is the only one who knows your situation. The research behind this site is shared work, so the advice you get is the same from either of us.

More off-market opportunities

A meaningful share of LA condo sales are settled quietly — an owner who would sell for the right number, a unit that changes hands before anyone photographs it. Those conversations happen inside brokerages, between agents who already know each other. Belonging to two firms doubles the number of rooms we are in, which means buyers hear about buildings earlier and sellers can test the market discreetly before committing to a launch.

We divide the work by what each of us is better at, not by who took the call. You get both of us either way.
