California Riviera is a homeowners-association-governed enclave of single-family homes covering the flat, southern portion of Pacific Palisades' Riviera district, bordering Brentwood and fronting the Riviera Country Club. It is the largest of three HOAs in The Riviera area, with architecture ranging from traditional homes dating to the late 1920s through a mid-century modern building boom of the 1940s-1950s to newer contemporary estates. Many properties feature private pools and generous lot sizes, and homes along the golf course command premium prices for their views. The HOA charges modest voluntary dues and organizes community social events throughout the year.
