Wilshire Corridor vs. Century City: where should you buy?

By Condos of LA · July 6, 2026 · 6 min read

For buyers set on a full-service high-rise on the Westside, two names come up again and again: the Wilshire Corridor and Century City. They sit minutes apart, but they offer distinctly different lifestyles.

The Wilshire Corridor

A roughly two-mile stretch of Wilshire Boulevard between Beverly Hills and Westwood, the Corridor is defined by its landmark residential towers — many with white-glove service, sweeping city-to-ocean views, and large floor plans favored by downsizers who want space without a house.

Century City

Century City pairs residential towers with an office core and the Westfield Century City mall, giving it a more walkable, mixed-use feel. Newer construction like Ten Thousand raised the bar on amenities, drawing buyers who want a lock-and-leave lifestyle steps from dining and shopping.

The Corridor tends to reward space and views; Century City rewards walkability and newness. Your priorities decide the winner.

On price, both command a premium, with newer Century City product often at the top of the range. HOA dues in both are substantial and reflect the level of service. The best way to choose is to tour a few buildings in each and feel the difference — we’re happy to arrange it.
